Can you believe that 10 weeks later I am set to watch the series finale to The Offer? Has anyone else stuck with this exceptionally average show? My weekend plans include that, the Father of The Bride reboot film (replacing Steve Martin with Andy Garcia is certainly a choice), and maybe giving Mad God another shot.
If you're not aware of Mad God, it is a stop motion feature film from effects whiz Phil Tippett who has been working on this as a side project when not busy animating dinosaurs in Jurassic Park or helping RoboCop move about. The film is wild, but largely unwatchable unless you've partaken in some recreational greenery. If you are high, I reckon you'll have an incredible time with it.
If you're not yet watching Evil, that show came back during the past week. May I draw your attention towards its 100% season 3 Rotten Tomatoes score? I reckon the show is the best thing on at the moment. It's worth your attention.

I'm keen to check out The Lake on Amazon Prime Video. I had some screeners, but simply not enough time to get to it. My understanding is that the first episode isn't especially good, but it picks up really well after that.
Something I have watched is Dark Winds, which is a Native American procedural cop drama produced by George RR Martin and Robert Redford, with the creative handled by a 5-person team of Native American writers. Ultimately, the show suffers from being merely pretty good in a landscape filled with a lot of shows that are also pretty good. But it is pretty good and if you are in the mood for a show that matches a cop drama with Navajo spirituality and other supernatural fare, you're well-served by this. It is available on AMC+ in Australia, which you can find via Apple TV Channels or Amazon Prime Video Channels (it doesn't have its own app), but a subscription to it also gets you Shudder and Acorn TV access, so it's a pretty good deal.
