A bit of a so-so week ahead of us for new shows, but there are some beloved shows returning. I’m very excited to see Kim’s Convenience and the Mitchell / Webb comedy Back returning.

If you’re keen on the Walker: Texas Ranger reboot now titled just ‘Walker’, set your expectations now. Expect way less ass-kicking and a lot more family drama. There’s a reason the show dropped ‘Texas Ranger’ from the title.

Feature film Losing Alice on Apple TV+ is probably the safest bet for the weekend, but worth a look will be the new Russell T Davies show It’s A Sin. Any Davies show is worth your time, but to date I’ve not seen a limited series by him with a series that ends anywhere near as compelling as the series began.
