There's quite a few new series that debuted this week. The only one worth your time is Pam & Tommy, which is streaming now on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. This is a show about the relationship between Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee and what happens once their private sex tape was released to the world.

Some viewers will eat this one up, while others will see it as crass and exploitative. They will tell you that every week after watching each of the eight episodes.

Here's what you need to know about the show:

  • It is 8 episodes long and the first 3 are streaming now.
  • I have only seen the available episodes, but I understand that episodes towards the end of the run are quite a bit deeper than the very superficial opening episodes.
  • In episode 2, Tommy Lee has an extended conversation with his penis who, yes, talks back.

Oh, and the other thing you need to know: this show is GRAPHIC.

Enjoy.

Meanwhile over on Apple TV+ you have the thriller Suspicion, which marks the first Uma Thurman TV show. She is barely in the episodes I have seen and I suspect that they only had her for one or two half-days of filming. The show is not terrible, but it is only really worth watching if you have a quiet afternoon and the only streaming service you have is Apple TV+ and you've already watched everything on it that isn't See.

Amazon Prime Video has Reacher. A show I wanted to like more, even if it feels a little bit like weak sauce Justified (or maybe at a stretch, Banshee). The biggest problem with it is mostly that as a character, Reacher is a bit dull and lacks anything that resembles a personality. It's watchable, but there's nothing especially worthy about it. You're better off (re-)watching Justified or Banshee, to be brutally honest.
