Bluey renewed!
In news that is completely unsurprising to anybody, Aussie animated kids show Bluey will be back for a third season. Is this even news? The show is very, very successful. It was never not coming back.
How is this even a lead story in the ABW newsletter other than a shameless attempt to spotlight Bluey news for the clicks?

Amazon Prime Video has now confirmed the Borat movie. It has a trailer and promotional image (seen below), it has a release date - October 23.
Oh, and it has a title (which is very similar to the rumoured title cited earlier this week):

Aus Media Report podcast
A new Always Be Watching podcast is half-edited and should be out later today. But in the meantime, you might be interested in checking out my other podcast project The Aus Media Report.
In addition to a chat with Guardian reporter Josh Taylor about deplatforming controversial voices in Australia (we don’t really tend to do it - why?), there’s a lengthy chat between myself and TV commentator Steve Molk about the launch of new Australian TV channel 10 Shake and what it says about the long-term future for Ten under its US owners ViacomCBS.

Jenny Brockie steps down as Insight host
Long-running Insight host Jenny Brockie has announced her permanent departure from the show.
Brockie has taken some time off during 2020. Eyes are now on fill-in host Marc Fennell - will he get the permanent hosting gig? One would have to assume he’d be at the stage where he’d be looking for a more grown-up gig than hosting a show billed as a youth current affairs show (The Feed).
RIP Archie Lyndhurst
19 year-old actor Archie Lyndhurst has died after a short illness. He starred in the BBC kids show So Awkward and was the son of Nicholas Lyndhurst (from Brit comedy Only Fools And Horses).
Bond film still on track?
The new Bond film still seems on track for its November release with the promotion machine revving up. Today we have the theme song to No Time To Die by Billie Eilish.
By jove, I think this film is actually going to be released in 2020…
Mando promotional poster
A new promotional poster has been released to promote the upcoming release of The Mandalorian season 2.
Due to the problematic nature of this image, I do feel obliged to remind any parents reading this newsletter that it is irresponsible to transport a child on your speeder-bike in this manner.
