Silicon Valley will come to an end with its 6th season. The final season will consist of just 7 episodes and is really coming to an end at the right time. While I’ll miss the show, it doesn’t really feel like something that needs to keep going at this point.
On the conclusion, showrunner Alec Berg:
“We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”
For US$3.4 million, you can own Tony Soprano’s house. While the pilot episode of The Sopranos was filmed at the house, future filming took place at a studio in Queens with only exterior shooting taking place at the house.
Most properties in the neighbourhood go for about $1-2 million, so the family that owns the house (and have done so since 1987) are inflating the value of the house due to its cultural value. Essentially you’re paying the extra $1.4 million to enjoy the experience of tourists taking selfies at the end of your driveway every morning.
