Community and Rick & Morty’s Dan Harmon has a new show in the works at Fox. The premise:
Set in mythical ancient Greece, the series, which is currently casting, centers on a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other.
I’m laughing already.
The show will be produced by the Fox-owned Bento Box animation studio and is part of an effort to bring more of its shows in-house to be fully owned by Fox. It will be broadcast on the Fox TV network and streamed via the Fox-owned Tubi.
Rendever is a company that provides virtual reality experiences for seniors so that they can break free of social isolation and explore the world. It’s something especially beneficial during this time of COVID.
Hetrick was selected for an actual trip to the Grand Canyon, a challenging task for Hetrick due to his physical impairments. To make things even more difficult, travelling had since become incredibly complicated due to COVID-19. That’s when Rendever, a VR platform catering to seniors, stepped in and proposed the idea of a virtual Grand Canyon experience.
Apple TV+ is making a kids show called Jane. Inspired by Jane Goodall, this series will be a live-action show with animated elements about a 10 year-old girl with an active imagination.
Through pretend play, Jane and her trusty teammates work to protect an endangered animal in each mission-driven episode because, according to her idol, “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”
