  • The new Alien TV series from Fargo's Noah Hawley is expected to go into production later this year. It is to be set on Earth and takes place about 70 years from now. Read: Deadline
  • Criminal Minds: Evolution will return for a second season to Paramount+. Read: thefutoncritic
  • Minx has a new US home at Starz following its removal from HBO Max. Read: TV Insider
  • Netflix comedy Mo has been renewed for a second and final season. Read: THR
  • The Sons of Anarchy series Mayans FC is not only still around, but it has just announced it'll finish with its fifth season. #PeakTV Read: THR
  • HBO Max has hiked up its price by $1 after shedding a bunch of content and just before a relaunch as it merges with Discovery+ and further ruins the platform. Read: Indiewire
  • Feb 24 is when Netflix's hotly anticipated Luther film will debut. Read: The Verge
  • Warner Bros Discovery is launching Warner Pass, a channel on Amazon Prime Video in France that aggregates HBO content, other Warner shows, and 12 linear streaming channels. Read: THR
  • Mark Parker is the new head of the Disney Board. Read: Deadline
  • CBS has renewed its hit show Ghosts for a third season. Read:TV Line

Canadian series Children Ruin Everything debuts season 2 on The Roku Channel Feb 3. I note that the show is pretty decent and ask: Why don't we get many Canadian comedies here in Australia?

Feature film Sharper debuts on Apple TV+ Feb 17. The psychological thriller stars Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, John Lithgow, Justice Smith, and Briana Middleton.

Alison Brie romcom Somebody I Used To Know debuts Feb 10 on Amazon Prime Video.

Reese Witherspoon & Ashton Kutcher's Netflix romcom Your Place Or Mine debuts on Netflix Feb 10.

Teen ghost series Lockwood & Co debuts on Netflix 27 Jan.

The Exchange debuts on Netflix Feb 8.

Jan 20 has the release of Shahmaran on Netflix.
