HBO Max adds 2.7 million subscribers

Some good news for HBO Max (a service that, sorry Chris Nolan, I actually think is the best of the streaming services). In the past quarter, the streaming service added 2.7 million subscribers. Well, probably. WarnerMedia bundle HBO and HBO Max subscriber numbers together. But it is a safe assumption that the majority of that growth occurred on the streaming side of the business.

All it took was completely upending its theatrical business. Oh, and there was that pact with ol' Lucifer himself Zack Snyder.

New report finds a lot of Aussies are watching TV via VPN

A survey conducted by Reviews.org into Australian VPN use found that while 30% of Australians don't know what a VPN is, 13% are using a VPN to watch TV content.

It's an interesting stat, even if I think the methodology is a little shaky (it was 1000 people polled through online polling).
