Chooseco, the company who own Choose Your Own Adventure, are suing Netflix for what they claim is reputational damage over Bandersnatch.
Chooseco alleges that Netflix is benefitting from an association with its iconic brand, and that Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, which allows audiences to select the direction of the plot, has been widely discussed in the press as being connected to the phrase, "Choose Your Own Adventure."
Other people might argue that Bandersnatch has given Choose Your Own adventure greater relevance than it has seen since, what, 1988?

South Korea produces a lot of scripted and unscripted television for a country with a population of just over 50 million people. With so many shows to produce, sometimes shot and edited the same week they’re released, K-dramas traditionally haven’t depended on cinematography to keep viewers engaged, instead firmly emphasizing the show’s story.

It has been an especially big week for some beloved comedies returning. One of my absolute favourite shows Catastrophe is back for its fourth and final season. Also winding up is You’re The Worst after five seasons. It’s a bit under the radar, but the Andrea Savage comedy I’m Sorry is quite good and worth a look (but by no means is it inventing the comedy wheel).

Netflix comedy Sex Education has gotten rave reviews. I haven’t had time to check it out yet, but I sense it’s going to quickly become a beloved favourite. I think it’s great to see Gillian Anderson doing something that isn’t a period drama. The trailer for Canadian drama Coroner also looks like it might be a good quality accessible procedural case-of-the-week type of show.
