The absolute worst phrase in the world of TV since Netflix exploded in the mid 2010s was variations on “Oh, my TV show is really more like a 12 hour movie.” I’m beating an oft-beaten drum here, but TV is always at its best when it is true to its form and is allowed to be TV.
