Disney+ dumps two big-budget adventure shows for tax write-offs

Over the weekend it was announced that a TV series based on YA novel-turned-movie The Spiderwick Chronicles has been canned by Disney+ as a tax write-off. It follows the recent trend of streamers dumping TV shows after they have entered or finished production.
