Netflix House reveals launch details
Netflix has announced that its first two Netflix House event spaces will launch by the end of the year, with Netflix House Philadelphia opening 12 Nov and Netflix House Dallas opening 11 Dec. The venues are Netflix's take on Disney theme parks, with immersive experiences based on its films and TV shows, along with related food and retail.
Something I didn’t realise about the venues - they are free to enter. The experiences inside the venue, however, are ticketed. I think I’d be more inclined to want to participate in the various experiences if it were more like a regular theme park and I just had a gate price to pay. That said, I guess it opens up the spaces more for regular access to the restaurants. I’m sure there’s a spreadsheet somewhere making a case for it.
