The Oscars will have its Spider-Man

Spider-Man is the face of cinema in 2021/22 - every effort is being made to get him an Oscar.

Academy members be damned, the 2022 Oscars will see a Spider-Man on stage accepting an award. In an effort to try and broaden interest in the Academy Awards for home viewers, there had been hopes that Spider-Man: No Way Home would get a Best Picture nomination. After all, it's the only movie to make serious money this year.
