TV has a new Batwoman

ALSO: The Crown is un-cancelled. AND: A lot more. It's a big day.

Javicia Leslie has been cast as the titular new Batwoman on the CW series. She replaced Ruby Rose who quit/fired from the show. It is confirmed that her character will be Ryan Wilder, an entirely new character to the Bat-universe.

Prior to Batwoman, Leslie co-starred in God Friended Me. Like Batwoman, that show was also produced by Berlanti Productions.
