Three things worth a look this weekend. Sorry For Your Loss is a much-hyped drama starring Elizabeth Olsen and the indisputable star of Star Wars: The Last Jedi Kelly Marie Tran that you can watch via the relatively new Facebook Watch platform. Episodes run just under half an hour each.
The show everyone will be talking about over the weekend though is Maniac on Netflix. Reviews have been glowing for this Emma Stone / Jonah Hill series. I’ve been reluctant to watch the trailer or read too much about it, but the buzz is huge on this.
And lost in that buzz is Tony Danza returning to TV in the Netflix original The Good Cop. It’s a very traditional TV show, which isn’t entirely a bad thing.
And speaking of traditional drama… is it weird that I am as enthused as I am about next week’s Magnum PI reboot debuting?

Mantleray, claims can repair anything about the mind, be it mental illness or heartbreak - draws them and ten other strangers to the facilities of Neberdine Pharmaceutical and Biotech for a three-day drug trial that will, they're assured, with no complications or side-effects whatsoever, solve all of their problems, permanently.

Emet is the perfect mom, boss, wife, friend and daughter. Okay, she's not perfect. In fact, she's just figuring it out like the rest of us. Sure, she feels bad when she has a sexy dream about someone other than her husband, David, or when she pretends not to know her kids, Lily and Louie, when they misbehave in public, or when she uses her staff to help solve personal problems. But nobody can have it all without making a few mistakes - and Emet's realizing that as long as she doesn't become her mother, it's all going to work out pretty great.
